On your own or in your group please discuss how you would handle different situations that you might find yourself in as a victim or as an observer , please click on the link below to write your answers. Remember hate crime can happen anywhere and to anyone i.e. school, home, in the community.

Key Messages

  1. Always report an incident of hate crime but make sure the person you tell will deal with it appropriately. Remember friends maybe a good advocate to help you to tell an appropriate adult i.e. teacher/ support work/ or parent but they shouldn’t be the only ones that are told.

  2. Never put yourself in danger
